The session aimed to help participants understand, build, and deploy intelligent AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio, showcasing how agentic AI can transform academic and administrative processes across institutions.
Held as a hands-on, instructor-led session, the workshop provided attendees with a comprehensive overview of Copilot Studio, its best practices, and administration essentials. After a collaborative lunch session, the workshop continued with a deep dive into building a Course Registration Agent. This exercise guided participants through creating agents capable of managing multiple topics with specific outcomes using Topics, Flows, Tools, and Triggers. Participants gained first-hand experience in developing AI agents that can automate and personalize processes like course enrollment and student guidance.
The day concluded with closing remarks and an engaging Q&A session, where attendees shared their experiences and discussed the responsible use of Copilot Studio in business and education. The workshop emphasized best practices in AI governance, security, and ethical deployment—ensuring institutions can adopt Copilot Studio effectively and responsibly.
