At TeBS, we always support initiatives to bring joy and goodness to celebrate the festivities. This year we contributed to the Tampines Changkat Joy Box initiative to support beneficiaries of St Luke’s ElderCare Ltd. The TeBS team had a fantastic time playing games, spending time with the elders at the center, and giving them the Joy boxes. We partnered with the People’s Association to provide these Joy boxes. We carefully curated and chose a few items which we thought would benefit them both functionally and joyfully. It was a team effort from sourcing the items to packing and finally delivering the items before the team arrived this morning on 19 Dec.
We spent our time mingling with the elderlies, we even played a traditional family game ‘Bingo’ with them and could sense from their smile and laughter that we had warmed their hearts and showed them the season of giving. We ended the day with a heartfelt Christmas song before saying our goodbyes
There’s no greater joy than giving, serving, and caring for elder people. Our team was glad to have the opportunity to make a difference in a small way to this wonderful organization serving the elders.
