.NET Development

TeBS’ in-house .NET Framework is designed to meet and serve the needs of regularly changing business logic or rules.

TeBS leverages on Microsoft’s .NET platform, enhancing it with an in-house, common, robust framework coupled with MVC (Model View Controller) architecture. .NET Framework with MVC provides a consistent and familiar development experience with .NET technologies. It also provides an extensible model that encapsulates workflow functionality for end users or for reuse across multiple projects.

Data in the SQL DB is indexed and a custom feature enables data massaging and data combination, making complex report generation, simpler and flexible. Another feature exports the reports to excel with a single click, from an authorized user.

At TeBS, we understand the importance of securely managing business critical rules implemented within an application. We also focus on the necessity to control the same when it comes to sensitive information. Our .NET platform-based solution provides the ease of amending custom applications where rules/process are generally hard-coded.

This custom feature on the .NET platform gives users the freedom of defining roles and privileges from a list of permissions.  These roles can be assigned to a designated user in any combination as desired/required by the customer.

Audit trails work in concert with logical access controls, which restrict use of system resources.  Granting users access to particular resources usually means that they need that access to accomplish their job. Authorized access, of course, can be misused, which is where audit trail analysis is useful.  While users cannot be prevented from using resources to which they have legitimate access authorization, audit trail analysis is used to examine their actions. With this feature, Customers can have a complete check and control on the user’s actions.

Inclusion of Data/Content in the system has always been a challenge. With this feature, Administrators have the freedom to upload data using multiple file formats (where the data could be unstructured). Users can upload data in csv, excel, txt formats. The contract data/information is securely managed using this feature.

Benefits of Using the TeBS .NET Framework

The .NET framework is designed to be as scalable as possible. When a customer plans to have additional functionalities, enhancements or integration with other system, it could be easily achieved compared to other standard systems. With .NET, the time taken for re-working and re-developing applications for a larger load/enhancement is reduced.

With .NET framework the total cost of ownership of software and cost of maintenance is low, as the settings can be configured without any need of re-coding.

The .NET platform solves the problem of large number of DLLs (Dynamic Link Libraries or re-useable code in one file) that have to be deployed and registered on a machine. This is done by allowing different versions of the same DLL to exist side-by-side on the same machine. This reduces the involvement of the tech support team to troubleshoot a problem due to a user downloading files from the Internet that wiped out a critical DLL on their machine.

.NET has many built-in checks and balances that ensure the system stays up and running. Business critical applications, e-commerce sites and any other line of business application is protected from failing.

The .NET framework has had top-notch security features since its initial release. The .NET Framework has functions that best monitor & prevent cyber-attacks or any other form of injection. Also, the framework is scalable to accept new security updates and parameters in future ensuring a more secure application.

The .NET framework can re-use the same code for different types of applications, which is more productive when compared to using different tools for different environments.

.NET can interact with most of the existing applications through its interoperability features. Being able to leverage existing code will lower the migration cost to .NET, thus once again increasing the effective ROI.
